The classic WWII design, now updated to meet all EPA spill-proof requirements and in a smaller back-saving size. The size of this one makes it exceptionally easy to carry when full yet large enough to fill your mower and trimmer etc. Its single seam solid steel construction with three grab handles for easy carrying balance, this makes this sturdy, strong, and very secure. The three grab handles give you a range of carrying options - the center handle lets you carry one evenly balanced. The outside handles let you carry two empties in one hand, or two of you carry one can. Flat sides (with inward facing ribbing) makes stacking and storage easy. What a beautiful piece of 75 year old industrial design. Industrial powder coated with an alkyd ammonia based lining impervious to fuels. Sized 13-1/2 x 11 x 6". Capacity is 2-1/2 gallons (10 L).

This smaller size has the original design of a lever-locking, tightly sealed closure cap. (This is simply better than a screw fitting.) An all-steel, lockable bracket (shown) is also available as an accessory and can be securely mounted on a garage wall or the back of any utility vehicle or truck. Resilient pads on the inside of the bracket and locking bar prevent rattling, and the locking bar can be set to hold the can very snugly. Simply great function.

  • Worth Every Penny

Luc, 5/13/2016 This can is quite expensive, but worth it. Just spent a lot more money having my ATV repaired as a result of water in the gas tank. The water got there through refueling from a cheap plastic gas can. No water is going to get into this can. A lot of these new cans are so complicated that you need 5 hands to operate it. This one is simple and will not spill. It is built with the care of a fine watch, but the toughness of a bulldozer
  • Smart Design Solves Problem

Rich Fairbanks, 5/7/2015 The ventless design combined with the lever lock closure makes it very difficult for moisture to enter the can. I use a lot of saw gas, mostly in the wet winters we get here in Oregon. With this design I can leave the can out in the woods and not have moisture ruin the saw gas. Add to that the idiot proof spout design which prevents most spills. The miniature jeep can design allows me to bungee the can flat against the side of the pickup bed. Finally, the liter markings on the can are slowly persuading me to learn metric measurement.
