A special purpose Corner Chisel has a right-angle blade designed for trimming corners in mortises and other square holes and corners. Tapped lightly with a woodworker’s mallet, Corner Chisels are especially useful for final fitting of any mortised hardware - hinges, drawer locks, name plates, etc.
Our 3/8” Corner Chisel is precision made of hardened and tempered high carbon steel, and fitted with a rosewood handle and shock absorbing leather washer. Hand ground flat back, with double inside bevels machined to a precise 90° right angle. Overall length 10”.
