Unique Japanese woodworking clamps
These light and easy-to-use clamps have quick and positive adjustment and a quick release, making them perfect as gluing or setup clamps for reasonably clean-fitting joints. Although they have been available in the USA for over 20 years from some specialist sources, most woodworkers are not familiar with them. They look a bit unusual, but are simply wonderful to use.

The 6" and 12" sizes are solid brass and perfect for the sort of light duty positioning that needs to be done every day. The 18" and 24" sizes are steeland are bigger and stronger. Hatakane Clamps are most often best used in pairs, and we offer them at a 15% saving as pairs.

You can never have too many clamps, and these are great tools for all woodworkers.

I use these clamps for model building and have found none better for this application. The brass clamps are very well made and just to look at them is to see the very best design composition of art and functionallity.
