The handles are nicely shaped cast aluminum with rubber grip surfaces, and are held closed by a spring-loaded snap-catch. Overall length 7-1/2 -8".
The Anvil cutter blade is teflon coated and is best for dry stalks and dead wood, the Bypass Pruner is best for green material, and the Flower Cutter with its 2-1/2" long blades is perfect for collecting the bouquet for the front hall or the dining table. These are very good tools.
