  • Nice Little Knife

Christine Kleis, 2/27/2015 Bought this as a gift for my brother (a man who has an extensive knife collection) knowing Garrett's commitment to quality, I just knew this would be a quality, little pocket knife and appreciated as a gift. I was right on all counts!
  • All Quality!

R B Credo, 10/10/2014 Excellent knife. The weight to length ratio makes the knife very workable. Good balance and strong blade. The shaped knife point makes for consistent & steady carving, and it keeps a sharp edge. My sons raved about the product, so I purchased two more as gifts.
  • "Beautiful Steel"

Marvin Howard, 2/17/2014 My father was a life-long electrician and tool aficionado. I received a Solingen knife from an engineer friend in the oil patch" years ago and when my dad saw that knife he looked at it reverently and used only two words to describe it: "beautiful steel". I gave that knife to him and he truly treasured it the rest of his life. When I saw this opportunity to replace it, I was sure I had to try, but wasn't at all sure that after 30 years, knives out of Solingen were still being made to those high standards. Well, this knife far exceeds the knife given to my dad (this being only my opinion as the "next generation on" of tool aficionado's" in my family). From its oak wood handle to the beautiful brass anchor inlay to the amazingly sharp blade, its truly the work of practical art that I hoped it would be. I too plan to treasure it for the rest of my life. And just to be sure its description is said the way it needs to be... "Beautiful Steel"!

Mike Wright, 12/24/2013 I purchased three of the knives for gifts, and I'm kicking myself for not getting one for myself! Not only are they great looking, the quality is top-notch. These will stay in the family for generations. Very, very happy all the way around with the product, the price and the service!

Daniel, 6/6/2011 I give these knife a 5 because it does great jobs cutting, and crafting things.
  • Really Really Tough

James Mac, 8/17/2010 I have 2. I've misused and abused them for years. Keep one open in top drawer of tool chest.. have cleaned them off with power sanders.. they do everything and stay sharp..resharpens easy I don't recommend opening paint cans as I broke the tip ... reground it and its as good as ever.. don't think I will ever retire these knives. Batman may carry one in his utility belt. nuff said.
  • Classy

Chuck Williams, 8/1/2010 Very classy and well built knife...but I think it may be a little over-priced. Feels good in your hand and even though the blade looks thin it feels very tough for its size.
  • Good Looking

Richard, 5/14/2010 I was attracted to this knife because of it's good looks. Upon receipt I was a little dissapointed by the quality. I guess I expected the knife to be more substantial. The blade is lighter than I would have imagined, the end caps feel hollow instead of solid brass and the spring tension is extremely tight making it difficult to open and close. Again, I love the look of this knife but it's substance does not match it's great styling.
  • Beautiful

Mike Martin, 1/23/2010 This knife is handsome, well crafted and finished. The inlaid anchor in the handle sets it apart from other knives in the price range. Friends who see it want it and that says a lot for this knife.
