This is a serious bushcraft knife. 10-3/4" long overall, with a 5-1/2" carbon steel blade, it also has a full tang through the handle. The flat, 1/8" thick spine can be struck with force to aid in splitting wood or cutting through tough materials. The textured G-10 (hard fiberglass resin) handle has a lot of grip and is easy to hold onto, even when wet. The truncated tip, called a sheep’s foot blade, is a classic work design, created both for reliability (the tip won’t bend or break if pried) and to avoid inadvertent puncture.
Comes with a nylon sheath that has an additional pocket for storing a honing stone or fire steel. Whether for camping, bushcraft, or hacking stakes for the garden, this is a knife that’s ready for the really tough jobs.
