The block plane is one of the most useful tools for any shop or jobsite. A woodworker will reach for it all the time, to work on end grain, trim a joint, or clean up a surface or edge. The challenge is keeping it within reach all the time.
A French firm has designed a very nice holster that any block plane (Stanley, Record, or Lie-Nielsen) will slip right into. The snap clips onto the back of the holster, forming a loop to slip your belt through. For safe storage in any toolbox just close the front completely, using the velcro closure.
Made of leather, with a woven cordura back and nylon binding for durability.
