Bronze (an alloy of copper and tin) is actually harder wearing than the steel used in most gardening tools, and of course, bronze does not rust or corrode, although it will develop a beautiful patina. All the handles are turned European Beech. These are not inexpensive for sure but the value is solid. For the gardener who appreciates using unique tools with great function, go no further.

The large 12" long Bronze Digging Trowel has sharp edges and is extremely strong. The loop on the 10" long “Scoop-Weeder” is held in place using Brass screws), and its function is unique. Close weeding around delicate new plants can be tricky. With the “Scoop”-Weeder you can easily scuffle the soil and loosen roots without risk of damage to what you are trying to protect. The Bronze Rake/Spatula makes a fine, unusual cultivator.

These tools are made in Europe, and we have a USA custom-made wood box for you to store them in – which also makes a handsome presentation box. The box is available at a modest cost ($13.75) if you get 1 or 2 tools, but will come with your order at no cost if you order all 3.

  • various gardening tools and wooden box and rose wood handled pruners.

Dan Courtemanche, 9/4/2016 All the gardening tools are of the finest quality. I was disappointed that there were no instructions on how to use the bronze scoop weeder.
  • Makes Weeding a Breeze

    Cynthia, 6/22/2016 top notch!
  • Beauty and Function

Christian, 5/16/2016 I bought these as a Mother's Day gift. She it's already putting them to work and her feedback on their quality quality, functionality, and beauty is stellar. I am considering a set for myself as well!
  • Serious Garden Trowel

Mel, 5/6/2016 A beautiful garden trowel that I have already used in our clay soils here In Texas and it is the only tool that I have found that our clay did not stick to its surface. I felt the wood handle could have had a nicer finish so I applied two coats of spar varnish and it greatly improved the looks and durability.
  • Cool Tools

Bob Nicholas, 7/16/2015 They not only look good, but perform exactly as described. The only reason I gave them a 4 was because I prefer a hori-hori to a trowel.
  • Keeper

Gary Saylor, 6/25/2015 This is one of of those rare keepsake tools that is actually very functional. I have no doubt it will last for a very long time.
