Desktop Stirling Engine
A glass cylinder enhance this beautiful design
An exceptionally handsome desk accessory for the executive who has everything. The Stirling Engine was invented by Scottish minister Robert Stirling in 1816. They all consume very little energy using an inter-cylinder air-exchange principle. All metal parts are brass or stainless steel. The model is 4-1/2" high and 5" long. A fascinating feature of this Stirling model is the glass air exchange cylinders that let you see how it functions. All you have to do is to fill the burner cup with alcohol, and one lighting will keep it going for about 30 minutes. All are going to look on it with some wonder. These are fun. Germany.
