Made in Japan for craftspersons who insist on high quality tools in their work, each has a hardwood handle and 6-1/2" long blade. The trim crosscut saw (called the “Piranha”) has a 0.025" kerf, very little set and a very fine cutting 27 tpi. The Piranha blade is double-sided, giving you the value of two blades in one.
The Inlay Saw has, as you can see, a curved face for cutting into the middle of a sheet or panel, and a long, 28 tpi straight edge hardened so that it can cut abrasive materials – even small soft steel nails. These are very high quality tools not often seen for the crafts market these days. You’ll enjoy them. Available as a set of both (2).
