Fiber Optic Borescope
$ 0
For mechanics, builders, or any DIY'er who needs to see inside really confined spaces, there is simply nothing like this: a truly useful tool that seems almost magical, and is also a heck of a lot of fun to use. It's like a combination periscope, telescope, and microscope!

Use the Borescope to see behind or under heavy objects (like washing machines), or to look down drain pipes to find lost screws, tools, and jewelry. You can even see inside wall cavities by drilling a tiny 1/4 diameter hole.

The thin, highly flexible shaft holds a set of high quality optical fibers. Some fibers carry light down to illuminate where you are looking, while others carry the image back to the eyepiece. The image clarity is amazing, allowing you to view objects within a 40° field of view, from as close as 3/4" up to a full foot away. Pixel count has now been increased to 7,400 with no loss of size.

For years, tools like this have been available to industry professionals, but only for thousands of dollars. For mechanics, homeowners and ordinary folks like us, a quality Borescope at this cost is an absolute godsend.

Available with a 36" long shaft. Now, an additional easy-to-install shaft, which will hold its shape when bent, is included to give you 2-scopes-in-1 -a 1/4" thin, flexible shaft and a 7/32" "obedient memory" shaft to your desired shape.

Mirror, magnet attachment (for retrieving steel parts), and extra bulb are included. (Bulb life 9-10 hrs.) Comes in a sturdy plastic case. AA batteries not included. Note: Additional air shipping charges apply.

Note: The item #14N09.02 (36" Borescope) has been restricted from being shipped outside the U.S.
