| Needs alittle tweaking |

| This workbench is very functional and makes nice looking addition to the workshop but could stand an improvement or two. It is fairly easy to put together but the final assembly requires two if not three people. The side pieces are of a dense fiberboard material. For the price it would have been nice if they could have been solid wood. The table is heavy and well made and the vises come up true. The legs do not however connect to the table in the upright position and it would be possible for the whole bench to fall if you were working aggressively such as with planing or sanding. The legs were predrilled for what looked like a dowel or peg. I put a metal rod in place which fits into the underside of the table and makes the bench much more secure.
Also, the table moves back and forth on the hinge pegs by about 1-2 inches which is suboptimal if you are looking for stable working surface. I made a small wooden wedge which fits on one side and tightens everything up nicely.
Although there are some issues with this workbench, I have used it for several projects and it has performed well. If you are tight for space, this bench is a good option. |

| Perfect Workbench for Apartment Living |

| I purchased this workbench out of the need for a hobby table (I build RC boats) and it has turned out to be much more useful. My wife and I have used it during the minor renovations to our apartment, for maintaining our bicycles, for a craft table that we don't mind mucking up and scratching. The top is rather heavy and folding it up against the wall takes two people to accomplish comfortably. The vise s are sturdy, well built and apply even pressure. The assembly of the bench is moderately difficult due to the weight of the materials, so have someone there to help. All in all an excellent, solid workbench that i definately recommend. |
