This is one rugged hammer - with a 14" all-steel handle (PVC cushioned) - faster to use, easier to use, and more productive. Any hammer can drive nails but this one lets you pull them out more easily and with less effort than any other - period.
A special design places extractor claws just below the head. You don't have to change your grip or flip the hammer over to grip with the rear claw. Just slide the nail head into the special front claw and pull the handle up with little effort. The design gives you an 8-to-1 leverage advantage. You will be able to pull deeply embedded nails from cured oak, hickory and other tough hardwoods easily - without distorting the head of the nail. A block of wood or a crowbar are things of the past.
In addition, you can use the front claw to straighten studs and safely and effectively set nails deeply. It's a remarkable new tool.
