These very high quality personal journals have come from the same French stationer since the early 1930's. The 5-1/2 x 8-1/4" NoteBook with its hardbound leatherette cover has a great feel, and the bound 96 ivory-color pages have a satin finish. This special paper has a lightly printed dot pattern which provides a subtle visual guide for your writing, sketching or more technical drawings that is missing from an unlined surface. The 8-1/4 x 11-3/4" NotePad uses a similarly high quality white paper (80 sheets) with the same dot grid, and is micro-perforated at the top. The cover is scored near the top so that you can fold it over the spine. The back cover is very stiff so you can hold it with your free hand while writing or sketching without a desk.
The Perfect Pencil made in Germany is very sturdy with an excellent "B" hardness lead. The unique Cap houses a hidden sharpener that creates a perfectly centered, symmetrical point, and protects the point in storage. A remarkable piece of kit.
