Scrub, scrape, brush off. Sheds routinely get dirty naturally (after all it's dirt you are working with). Tools and surfaces can get caked with hardened debris. Here are 4 simple tools that you will reach for all the time. Believe it or not, we found these in Europe. The steel is untypically thick and robust and the hardwood handles well finished and well shaped.
We start with the ordinary looking black Dust Pan (but it's heavy and sturdy). Then there's the Tampico Brush with 8" of 2" long bristles and a shaped handle. Add the two very aggressive steel bristle Scrubbers (one with an end scraper) and you have everything you need to go to work. This basic kit will last you decades. We haven't seen one better anywhere.
