We turned to Berger, a well regarded German firm, for this innovative new tool with some unique features. First is the sophisticated ergonomic design. Angling the blade 30° downward brings the cutting action directly in-line with the wrist and eye, resulting in far less stress and fatigue regardless of arm angle. In addition, both blades are drop forged high grade carbon steel. The resulting edge-retention qualities and superior durability of both the hook and the shear put the Berger Pruners on the top shelf of premium quality European-made secateurs. Corrosion resistant hard chromed, with plastic-encased molded grips and one-hand thumb lock.
