Historical French Kitchen Knives
From Thiers, the renowned knifemaking region in France, comes this pair of historic knives from the 1950’s: a Chef’s knife and a Paring/Utility knife, both with forged carbon steel blades and stained beechwood handles with brass rivets. The Chef’s knife has a 7" blade and is 11" long overall, while the Paring/Utility knife has a 5" blade and is 9" long overall.

We recently discovered a large trove of these knives while on a warehouse visit to one of our longtime suppliers in Thiers. They are a testimony to the knife maker’s craft, and will provide you years of service, or make excellent gifts for the discerning cook on your list.
