For the most exacting trim work in hard plastics and metal parts
These are among the nicest small tools we have seen in years. The handles are all about 6" long and the cutting surfaces about 7/8" wide.
The cutters on the Flat Nippers (#1) are beveled only on the inside, and the outside of the cutters are almost (but not quite) flat. The allows the cutting edges to work virtually flush to the surface. The 35° Nippers (#2) have blades that actually arc to the meeting point, allowing an even more certain flat cut-off on delicate surfaces (these cutters are thinner than those of the Flat Nipper). Both the Flat and 35° Nippers have a built-in adjustable stop to protect the very sharp cutting edges from accidental damage in use.
The 90° Nippers (#3) have blades at right angles to the handle. As with the above other two styles, the base is flat, allowing cutoff flush to a surface.
Which of these models works best for you depends on the specific job to be done. These are serious professional tools. Hobbyists will love them for work on plastics, very soft metals (like lead), and on small wood parts. The cost is modest for the exceptional quality.
