After years of looking, we finally found a set of wood detailing tools perfect for the novice or occasional carver. This set of 9 carving tools of varying shapes, all packed in a beautiful canvas roll, are made by a famous Japanese knife maker. After some negotiations, he has agreed to export it to us, and we are happy to present them to you.
All craftsmen need to carve or detail-shape for decorative effect from time to time, whether to repair damaged items or to add character to a bead or corner joint. Good carving tools are expensive, however, and the variety of shapes and sizes can be bewildering. The set of 20 shaped abrasive sharpening sticks (2 are shown) are perfect for re-honing these steel carving edges. Made In China.
