( Our Single Blade Folding Pocket Knife is a “diamond in the rough”, just like its larger cousin the New Zealand Peasant Knife but with a 2-1/2” high carbon steel blade - expertly heat treated to achieve edge retention qualities that rival the best from Japan - married to an indestructibly utilitarian polypropylene handle. This little no-frills workhorse will cut even ¼” mild steel bolts with no damage to its edge – this is no joke because that’s exactly the test the knife maker famously uses.
With an extended tang for easy one-hand opening and closing, the knife has an open length of 6-3/4” and weighs only 1-1/2 oz. Brass rivets with blade tension adjustment. Comfortable to use and fitting easily in a front pants pocket, the knife is modeled on a 400 year old Bavarian design. Also available with a wenge wood handle (click here).
