Made in the USA, historically accurate, using domestic cotton and artisanal craftsmanship. Almost all canvas bags these days are made in Asia with #6 canvas which is much lighter - and of course, cheaper. Ours is #4 duck, much heavier and stiffer.
The Medium Basket Tote is 17 x 17 x 10" wide. The heavy canvas allows it to stand upright and open naturally even when empty - a big advantage for easy loading and unloading. The shape also maximizes its load capacity. It's perfect for family recreational trips and perfect for loading up dry goods at the grocer.
The Large Tote is sized 14 x 14 x 24" tall. As a household bag for larger families, therefore, it is fabulous, but it also excels at holding or moving lightweight, bulky items.
