( We’ve been looking at lamps like this for several years – but were never really satisfied with what we saw – until this one. The body is a durable silver color high-impact plastic. The pivot hinge in the base and top allows the top to move from 7" off the surface to 15" high. Inset in the top are a ring of 10 long-lasting LED lights providing many thousands of hours of use. Flipping up the top lid uncovers a 5" diameter, 1¾X lens (with a 4X spot for even greater magnification) for examination of whatever you need to look very closely at.
