With our use of "Devices" of all shapes and sizes, Portable Chargers are increasingly a standard part of our equipment. These allow you to be confident that your Smart Phone, GPS or Tablet device can be recharged when standard power is not available.

The Mercury 10M will recharge not only any Smart Phone but also any Tablet device, portable GPS, Digital Camera etc. It has an output of 10 watts, two USB ports, weighs 12 oz, and is 9 x 6 x 1-1/2" folded. It also comes standard with a Special Li-ion Battery that you can keep charged independently of the solar panels and which will prove very useful in persistent cloudy weather. A USB to mini USB cable is provided for charging the battery.

The Mercury 27 is designed not only to recharge all Smart Phones, Tablets and others listed above, but can also be used to recharge any brand of 12V DC Battery for remote use off the grid. The Mercury 27 has an output of 27 watts, has two 5V USB ports plus a 10 ft long, 12V output cable with a coaxial plug (DC 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm and DC 5.5 mm x 2.5 mm via included adapter - fits many 12V battery packs), weighs 36 oz and is 11-3/4 x 8 x 1-3/4" folded.

Both are highly portable and highly recommended. The Special Li-ion Battery (standard with the Mercury 10M and optional with the Mercury 27) works well with either. It has one USB output port (5V) and includes the mini USB input cable for charging the battery itself (from any source). A built-in cap seals the ports against debris and moisture, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Its capacity is 3000 mAh.

Michelle Dodds, 10/21/2014 Great product so far. It's nice not worry about power in the woods.
