These are crude tools made especially for a dirty (and often ignored) job, but anyone with a rotary mower will instantly recognize their usefulness. For if you don't clean the underside of your mower from time-to-time, eventually the caked-on grass and mud will become as hard as concrete - and look like the mower in the photo - a genuine mess.
These two bevel-edged steel tools made by a USA maker of professional garden and lawn-care equipment are shaped to handle the job. The 4" wide Scraper has a straight push edge. The other has three shaped edges, 3/4, 2 and 3". Hang holes in the blade allow them to be stored easily. Working with both is a better bet for getting the job done well than just one.
