I love the small space on the interior of the jaws, which when closed, makes a small recess to hold the nail head. This give much better "purchase" than you can get with pliers, where the sides grip the sides of the nail head.

Simply stated, these really, really work. They give you much more ability to pull out nails, brads, broken staples, etc. than any hammer, pliers or small pry bar. you'll use both for different size spaces and jobs and wonder how you ever got along without them, and the curved underside gives you the leverage to pull out anything.

Saved me two days of time and good money by making a reuse job go easy. Love the lever action. A cats paw turned into pliers for gripping.

About 8 years ago I purchased a nail puller from GW which was an excellent tool. If you could restock that item I'd order it in a heartbeat. You'd place it over an embedded nail head and strike the other end and 2 pinchers would close around the nail head and then you could rock it to pull the nail out. This tool is considerably larger and is a bit bulky hanging off your tool belt. Unlike the first nail puller I bought, this involves a 2 step operation, digging around the nail then gripping it in the claws to pull it out. I liked the first nail puller from 8 years ago alot better.
