With its robust fiberglass and anodized aluminum parts, triple-pulley system for the 1" capacity pruner, and a teflon-coated 16" saw blade, this is a superb, commercial grade tool for serious work. The pruner and saw section screws solidly into the strong pole, which extends from 4 to 8 ft. in length. Have had pole pruners before but none with the quality construction of this tool. The substantial pruner is though very light weight and easy to handle. Quality tool!

Excellent Pruner

After wasting money on a few other name brand pole saw/pruners I decided to try the Garrett Wade tool. In addition to being sharp, light and strong the most interesting feature (which is not readily apparent in photo) is the shape of the pole. Having one flat side with a positive locking pin the pole is strong and very sturdy and therefore easy to use when trimming over limbs. This is an excellent tool.
