Pore-o-pac Grain FillerThe grain filler was out of stock so I ended up ordering it from a different company because I needed it right away. This is a great product and filled in oak grains in a cabinet that we painted. The cabinet now matches the other cabinets I purchased. Even though I ended up purchasing this product form a different store, Garrett Wade kept me up to date on how long it would take to receive this product and also quickly, and without any hassle, refunded me for this product. I will DEFINITELY shop here again!!
Grain Filler ScraperThis grain filler scraper is a MUST and works great with the pore-o-pac grain filler and reducer. Do not hesitate to purchase this!!
THE LOST SECRET OF GRANDPA'S PIANO FINISHDid you ever wonder how your Grandpa got that glass-like finish on Grandma's Walnut Victrola? Wonder no more! He used wood grain filler, but he never had anything as nice as Pore-O-Pac, trust me. It seals in all the invisible little holes on the wood surface before the final finish. The art was lost - until now! Follow the whitepaper on the Garret-Wade website for applying grain filler. Stain-shellac-filler - It works! A little secret - After the grainfiller has been applied and wiped off with BURLAP you must restain with Behlen NGR Solar-lux and let it dry for 2 weeks. Chin up! Your Grandpa had to wait 2 weeks and you can too by thunder! Now apply 3 coats of wiping varnish like Sutherland Welles to your masterpiece with a light 0000 steel wool in between for a true, honest to goodness piano finish just like Grandpa was taught to do by his father. Grandpa would be proud of you!
