It's true. Porsche, the world-famous German sports car maker, used to make excellent farm tractors. Production stopped in 1956, but until then, if you wanted the best in Germany, you got a Porsche diesel – in this case the Master 419.
This heavy-duty traditional metal model (made in Europe) has real heft (scale 25:1). Fully steerable with a spring wind-up drive (through one of the wheel hubs), a full set of 5 gears (the real McCoy had 13 gears), a hand brake and a tow bar.
