This one comes off the farm in France. The lightly varnished beechwood handle is exceedingly comfortable. The carbon steel blade can be made razor sharp and the unique rotating 'ball lock' helps keep the blade firmly in place. The secret is in the one-hand operation. It's a very nice and inexpensive tool.

Favorite Friction Folder

This is my new main pocket EDC, and the nicest friction folder I have yet seen. The slender, long handle gives plenty to hold onto, and the flat grind gives it devastating cutting ability. Did not come sharp, but easily fixed.

This knife is great. The handle fits my hand well. It opens easily and the ball engages well. The blade is of high-quality carbon steel and is very sharp. Worth every penny.
