Authentic in every detail, the Concord Stage Coach achieves what's best about modeling, blending history with art and craft. Known for its rugged construction, the "Concord" (as it was known) was made almost entirely by hand by the Abbot Downing Company in Concord New Hampshire and was used by Wells Fargo and other stagecoach companies.
This kit is a rewarding challenge for the experienced modeler and beginners alike (kit model instructions don't come any better than this). Research, design, plans, instructions and prototype are the work of a single creator. In our experience, this makes the most historically faithful yet simplest to build kit to fit various skill levels - like having a mentor along side as you work. Kit includes wood strips, laser cut basswood, plywood and brass sheet, Britannia fittings, brass wire and other material. No plastic is used. Scale: 1:12. Overall length: 13-3/4". Height: 8-3/4".
