Our H.D. Anvil Lopper is the very best choice to large diameter dry branches but the Rapid Action model shown here is for more efficient to use if the diameter if 5/8" and under. Made in Canada, these feature a specially designed rapid ratcheting mechanism. The telescoping handles are great (26 to 40" long, with 6 pin-locked position stops and rubber grips).

Too Powerful For It's Own Good

Two stars may be unfair when the copy says to use on 5/8" or smaller, that info didn't come with the loppers. I tried it on a branch a little over an inch and bent the perhaps half way extended handles. Fact is they do work great at cutting and I was able to bend the handles back but I am disappointed with the strength of the handles.

Best quality Lopper I ever used. It has a very sharp blade and is easy to use because of its ratchet action. The best feature is the handles do not bend on larger branches.
