Off-Stone Honing Guide

We’ve kept this guide in our toolbox for years and have used it countless times for quick, easy on-site chisel tune up. It folds up compact which is a plus. Simply clamp the chisel or plane blade (up to 2-5/8” wide) in the frame. Then adjust to the correct height and angle so that the bevel lies flat on the stone with the rollers on the table or bench surface. Simply roll the guide on the work surface. Especially useful for use on smaller stones and longer blades.
