Inexpensive Tactical-Sized LED Utility Flashlight

As you may have noticed, we are real aficionados of superior Flashlights. The technological improvements in LED lights in the last 5 years has simply been breathtaking. The really good ones (especially with high lumen output, long throw or variable focus, and strong, durable machined aluminum bodies) are expensive for sure. We see many dozens of cheap ones all the time and reject them as not worthy.

However, a few months ago, we found this 150 lumen, 8" long Tactical-sized flashlight with a machined aluminum case that we like a lot (uses commonly available AA batteries – not supplied). It’s a long way from Mil Spec but the price is so right, it’s easy to afford a couple for those corners of your house or your cars so that one will always be close at hand if an urgent need arises. Its throw is about 50 ft and the beam is a fairly tight spot. Highly recommended as a staple.
