Cartridge masks are always the best way to protect yourself, but face it: as necessary as they are, even the best masks are uncomfortable. This one, however, is a great improvement. The secret lies in the lightweight design and the small 2-speed fan built into the front of the silicone mask. Powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), the fan helps pull air through the filter, bathing your face with cool, clean air.
