( Pulling the standard 4-Jaw chuck off (as shown) exposes a 1/2" drive on which you can mount all standard 1/2" mechanic's socket drives.
A 3-jaw auxiliary chuck is available to tightly grip round shank bits. This brace with a 3-jaw chuck also does a terrific job of holding all 1/4" hex bits. It's a great tool for turning any stubborn fittings.
Also available: special set of 6 extra heavy-duty screwdriver socket drives (3 slot 5/16" to 1/2" and 3 phillips #2, #3 & #4)
