First, there are two Fishing Knives. One has the thinnest 6" long filleting blade we have ever seen - it's only 1/2" wide. It's 10-3/4" long overall and has a beautiful oiled hardwood handle. The second has a 4-3/4" blade and is 9-1/2" overall. Its claim to fame is a cork wrapped handle and that it weighs only 2 oz. The Knife floats "like a cork," of course, and it's a beauty.

The other two Knives are an 8-1/2" Hunter (4" blade) and a 6" Personal Knife (2-3/4" blade). Both have beautiful hardwood handles. We discovered all four in Germany and they are a stand out for their good looks and craftsmanship. All blades are stainless steel and all four knives come with a custom Norwegian-made leather sheath. They are all distinctive, handsome and unique.

NOTE: We have been able to substantially lower the prices of these beautiful Norwegian Knifes because of an unexpectedly good buy.

Norwegian Hunting Knife
Reviewed By:  William D Carson (Memphis, Tennessee)
I ordered this knife as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It arrived quickly and was as good as described. The knife fit snugly in its well-made leather sheath, was sharp out of the box and very good looking.

Norwegian knives
Reviewed By:  Tom (Canton, Ohio)
I am a fisherman and have become a collector. I received two first class Norwegian knives with no nonsense grip handles and razor sharp blades that were obviously made with care and attention to quality that is hard to find in the States today. My experience with filleting knives similar to these on GWs site in the 80's and 90's furthered my interests in going a step beyond for a fillet and hunting knife. They are nicely done and I am proud to own them.

Beautiful knife
Reviewed By:  Will (Franklin , Tennessee)
I've been a knife collector for many years, and had the great fortune to watch custom knife makers David Rhea and Lloyd Hale create several amazing blades. I recently purchased a Helle Hunter's knife, and was blown away by the quality of it. Right out of the box it's razor sharp. The combination of the shape of the blade, and grain of the wood give it a deceptively simplistic beauty. I believe in the right tools for the job, and this knife is fully capable of any task an outdoorsman has. Whether breaking game, or clearing brush, this is a stalwart companion to have along. No one that works out of doors will be ashamed to have this knife on their belt!
