( Essentially a tougher and more rugged version of the XT8 light with a greater beam throw distance. It uses 2 CR123A batteries (included) and the case is slightly longer (5-3/4") and it is slightly heavier than the XT8. If you envisage your flashlight being dropped off a cliff or bouncing around in the back of a truck, choose the SX-21R.
