Sutherland Welles Penetrating Oil Stains

One of the most difficult things to do when finishing a new piece is to produce a warm patina. Sutherland Welles, the maker of our premium Tung oil finishes, has a superior product based on a pure polymerized tung oil formulation.

The Sutherland Welles stain actually penetrates the wood cells, enhancing the natural color and giving it a beautiful antique patina. These penetrating oil stains can also be added to any Sutherland Welles Tung oil Finish to produce a tinted finish coat. Available in pints or quarts.(These items cannot be shipped by air service.)
