Riffler Rasps are usually very expensive. These work well and are a very sound value. They work best when used aggressively to remove large amounts of wood from odd-shaped areas.

These are basic rasps with agressive teeth as pictured, and I found were excellent in removing large amounts of wood from odd shaped areas in a short amount of time. They are not "smooth cut rifflers" which many folks expect when they hear the word "riffler".

I found the rifflers did a crude job of removing material, ripping it out in a rough, project damaging way. I think my set will end up in a bottom drawer and forgotten. Sorry I wasted good money on them.
