A Skew Chisel, with its end bevel angled 45°, creates an extremely fine slicing cut. The ideal tool for precisely paring a joint, a Skew Chisel is often the final tool used before glue-up and assembly. A Skew can be used for the most detailed finishing - the sharp point allows easy access into very tight corners. The drop forged, high carbon steel, hardened, taper ground and polished blades have a perfectly flat back and are available ¾” or 1” wide. With oval-shaped, Rosewood handle and brass ferrule. Blade length 5-1/2”. Overall length 11-1/4”. Sold as a left-right pair only.
