Slip the end of the wrench over the nut or bolt, rotate to open or tighten as usual as far as you can. Then instead of lifting the wrench off, simply rotate it in the opposite direction. The hinged lower jaw clicks in position each time.
The designers have also made the heads unusually small, the handles slim and the rotation angle is only 30 degrees - an exceptionally small angle. They work faster and smoother than conventional open-end wrenches in all cases, but in tight positions, they simply work where others will not.
Each set has three wrenches. The imperial sizes are 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" and 11/16". Metric sizes are 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 mm. We love this tool and keep one (or two) in our tool drawer and portable kit.
