The 6X In-Line Standard Monocular features a 6 x 18 mm twist-focus, fully coated lens with a 9 degree field of view of 426 ft at 1000 yds. It's attached to a carabiner-style clip that you can hang almost anywhere on your clothes or pack. Weight 2-1/2 oz. Focusing will be done using two hands.

The Lever-Focus 8X Monocular, on the other hand, can be adjusted using only one hand by means of a unique rocker device. This innovation allows multi-tasking on the go - taking notes, holding a firearm, camera or even a paintbrush - so if you think that one-hand use is probably how you are going to want to operate, this one is for you. Weighs only 3-1/8 oz and features an 8 x 25 mm fully-coated lens with a field of view of 393 ft at 1000 yds. Slips easily in a pants or jacket pocket, or can hang from lanyard bail. Both monoculars include a zippered carrying pouch. Either is highly recommended as a great value. Made by Carson Optics.

  • Disappointed

Tim, 1/21/2014 This item is a big disappointment. I am sure that the magnification advertised on this product is exaggerated. They claim 471 feet at 1,000 feet and my sense is the real magnification is more like 870 at 1,000 feet. Save your money. I am also disappointed at Garrett Wade as most of my purchases over the years have been of much higher quality. I hope this is not a trend.
  • Lever Focus Monocular

Neff Basore, 1/1/2013 Not bad for the price but not as easy to manipulate one handed as suggested.
  • Very cheesy

Mack, 1/1/2013 Thought this would be a good deal but I guess you get what you pay for..light weight and not really a good product. A little disappointing for an otherwise good site.
