Nylon and glass fiber composite handles are light and very strong. 3-5/8" stainless steel blades. The "extended" position of the lower blade makes it very easy to complete a cut without repositioning the shears. Finally, the shears have an orange colored locking button for safety and secure storage. We love this tool.
