You will be thrilled with this handsome model
This fiery and temperamental WW1 British Fighter Aircraft (1917) was, with a skilled pilot, a deadly opponent in a dogfight and accounted over 1,250 victories over the trenches – more than any other allied aircraft type. This 1:16 scale kit is a non-flying structural model without any fabric covering. It's about as close as you can get to being able to hold the real thing in all its detail in your hands. Metal castings for the engine (including nine cylinders, magneto and radiator) and control steel and brass wire parts plus laser cut wood fittings eliminate the need to make from scratch. Very thorough plans and instructions are included.
The Sopwith Camel was the first British fighter to mount twin synchronized Vickers machine guns in front of the cockpit. Model wingspan 21", length 14". Completed, it's a very exciting model.
