| I've used this Tung oil for 20 years at least. The description is quite good. The low luster is easiest to use, a bit more like others available on the market, but with a nicer finish. I find that the smell is also a bit more tolerable than some others. The high luster is definitely a bit trickier to use, and is not needed for many projects, unless a gloss is desired. I've always used 1000 grit paper or even higher to apply once at this level. I would also highly recommend decanting this product into smaller cans if you are not going to use it up quickly. As stated it does congeal if the lid is not left on. I scrupulously keep it on. I decant gallons into quarts and quarts into pints. |
