I've been a GW customer since the late 70's and am still using handtools from GW that I purchased over 25 years ago. The quality is that good. Great company. The coolest stuff. Thanks again, -NP
Thank you for your conscientious and admirable customer service ethic. Another reason why I shop with you. -Serge
The Large Hinged Tongs with strong, sharp single-bevel tips will grip a round log as large as 9" in diameter. The forged Lifting Hook is a standard tool carried while working in the woods or woodlot (it slips in a large pocket or underneath a belt). You simply pull it out, bury the tip in a log or large branch and lift or pull to reposition. The handles are orange so they are easy to spot in the leaves.
The forged lifting hook is one of the best logging tools I've ever owned. It makes moving firewood logs into place for cutting a very easy task. I should have had one twenty years ago.
Sent for the Log Tongs and just love them. Well made and easy to use. Just right for branches or logs I have cut to drag away. I just reach down and the tongs open up and as I pull up they grip the wood tight. Makes it possible to easily move wood without wrestling. Well worth the money and Garrett Wade is very easy to deal with.
