A user-friendly alternative to the traditional drawknife
The Drawknife is a staple woodworking tool and is used, for example, in shaping curved sufaces by hand (think chairmaking) or in post and beam construction. We carry a number of different types, but they are tricky to sharpen properly, and take some skill to use well.
The inventive Swedes have taken the basic idea and refined it, producing a straight narrow-bladed, double-beveled tool that is infinitely easier to use, and (perhaps more importantly) can be pushed, as well as pulled. In fact, we think it works best when pushed.
