( This enhanced version of the very popular M30 (click here) has 14% greater maximum lumen output and a larger (and deeper) 2-1/4" lens that gives it a tighter beam for a much greater throw.The M31 uses a world-class Cree MCE LED, but does not come with a Diffuser as does the M30. And the M30 has a greater lumen spread.
Like the M30, the M31 has 3 lumen output levels, and can run off 3 or 4 CR123A lithium batteries (the fourth battery provides longer life, not greater power). In addition, the M31 (like the M30) can use rechargeable batteries.
