Weather Resistant British Padlocks

These are tough locks – not for high security, but when you need reasonable control access but the environment is harsh. Made in England by a family company in the lock business for more than two centuries. These solid steel (fully galvanized and highly bad-weather resistant) are designed for tough environments (dirt, sand, mud, farm use, exposed landscapes, forests etc.) They use a four-lever steel key (two come with every lock). The keyhole is covered by a Solid Brass escutcheon. The steel shackles are tough but not extra-security hardened. The shackle diameter of the Medium sized lock is 5/16" and the body diameter is 2-1/8". The same dimensions on the Large sized Locks are 3/8" and 2-3/4". If needed, these Locks are also available as keyed-alike pairs. Any competent USA locksmith will be able to make extra keys if you need them.
