In the northeastern corner of Italy, the small town of Maniago is brimming with factories—often family owned for generations—that produce knives and other cutting tools. Over the years, we have cultivated relationships with many of these local, family-run works, and are proud to offer their wares.

On a recent trip to Maniago we found this beautiful Rosewood handled 3" blade folder. It's durable and has a lovely action. The uniquely scalloped handle serves double duty: as an aesthetic crowd-pleaser and for the more practical purpose of improving the grip. The stainless steel blade has a thumb stud and low-friction mechanism for one-handed opening. With the blade open, it is 6-3/4" long. When closed, this knife feels so nice in the hand that sometimes we have, without realizing it, found ourselves employing it as a fidget. It’s different and it’s a beauty.

  • Nice knife, only issue is the thumb bob.

Lasse, 4/21/2018 My only qualm is that the thumb bob is a little sharp and digs into your thumb a bit after repeated use. The bob has a mark in the top from being punched into place that has some rough edges around it. I can probably smooth it out with sand paper, though. Otherwise, it's a sweet little folder.
  • didn't need it, very happy to have it

john, 2/3/2018 Like the other review says, this is quite the knife for the money. I have no intended purpose or need for this knife, the thinking was, "hmmm, an Italian wood handled pocketknife for not much... let's see what happens." The handle is as enjoyable to hold as the description says, wood grain is beautiful, I got a nice piece of tree. The blade shape and build are pretty new school, but the knife's vibe is more classic. I tend to like old style slipjoints, but this works for me. I can't speak to the steel yet, although the edge was quite sharp out of the box. I gave it a quick strop and hairs were popping. I'd be curious to know exactly what type of stainless it is, but not a huge deal.
  • Impressive Knife

J Svensson, 1/19/2018 Just received this knife and am truly impressed. It is well made, very unique, and fit and finish are superior, especially at this price point. Scalloped Rosewood handles are classy, well done and feel good "in the hand." No blade wiggle, and blade is well centered. Could pass as a much more expensive knife.
